Today has been designated #PrinceDay as fans across the world celebrate Prince’s Birthday, just over a month since he died.

Having been a fan since I was a teenager it is still really hard to believe he has gone. They say one of the key stages of grief is acceptance, so here’s proof I am getting there, courtesy of my Standard Issue biography…

And to finish up, here’s a photo of the gorgeous brooch my dear friend Rae sent me for my Birthday last month. As Purple Rain was the last song I heard Prince sing on the same day two years ago – it means a lot to me.
